Chairman's April 2011 Report.
Our meeting was a little bit low on attendance this month due I expect to some members having early holidays.
18 members were present and the atmosphere was brilliant.
Members were reminded that next month is our AGM .
As usual we had a demonstration and an extra lathe for hands on.
It was Mark Sanger’s turn to demo and he kept everybody so interested that the extra lathe was not touched all night.
Most of the evening the members where huddled around Mark watching intently as he showed them first how to make an incense burner then how to make a hollow form hollowed through the base.
Unfortunately due to ongoing restoration works we were unable to make teas or coffee but the disruption will be worthwhile as the improvements to the centre are going to be beneficial to us all in the long run.
