Meetings are to be held on the last Tuesday of each month.At the Community Hall Berrow Road, Burnham On Sea. (next to the swimming pool) starting at 1900hrs.  

Tuesday 27th July 2010- Mark Rabey Demonstration

Mark Rabey will be attending to demonstrate his skills in the use of colouring and finishing techniques.  Mark is highly regarded within his field and the evening will be both informative and of great benefit to all members. Mark will be bringing a range of finishing products for purchase during the evening.

Tuesday 25th May 2010- Hands on evening

Hands on evening on Tuesday the 25th of May there will be a hands on evening with tuition being given by Professional turner’s  Mark sanger and Martin Lawrence. The evening will put to use the new club lathes and will be the first of many hands on eveings scheduled for the future.

During the eveing members will be able to address any tooling  issues that they have encountered and have the chance to put the new techniques into practice back in their own workshops. Wth five lathes and tools to use the evening should be well attended and enjoyed by all.

The first meeting will be held on April the 27th and will be opened by our sponsor internationally renowned woodturner Mark Sanger RPT, who will be demonstrating how he produces one of his signature lidded forms. For more details of Mark’s work view his web site www.marksanger.co.uk
